An obesity epidemic is sweeping the nation,
Super-sized value meals are one explanation.

So the experts are saying what they feel is most wise,
each person with different needs must have their eating plan individualized.

This task is made easier I want you to know,
If you’re familiar with the dishes in which your food goes.

We’ll start with the small,and work through most all.

Dishware Capacity
Small Wide-Rim Veggie Dish Slightly heaped or overflowing onto rim ~ 1/2 cup of food
Coffee Cup Filled to 1/3&Mac253; from top ~ 2/3 cup hot beverage
Drinking Glass Filled to 3/4&Mac253; from top ~ 1 cup of beverage
Clear Plastic Salad Bowl Filled almost to the rim ~ 1 cup of food
Wide-Rim Soup Bowl Filled to where the rim begins to bend out ~ 1 1/4 cups of soup
Wide-Rim Soup Bowl used for Cereal Filled to where the rim begins to bend out ~ 1 1/2 cups cereal which can still hold 3/4 cup milk without overflowing the bowl

Here are other helpful tips that we feel
will help you determine food amounts at your meals.
Rolled Deli Meats ~ 2 oz. meat per roll
Specialty Deli Cheese Slices ~ 1 oz. per slice
3 oz. cooked meat, fish, or poultry ~ the size of a deck of cards
4 oz. Pasta or 1 1/4 cups ~ 1/2 of a dinner plate piled1-inch high or 3/4-inch high in a specialty pasta bowl
