BATTER-DIPPED FRENCH TOAST
8 Portions

3 Eggs

Whip on high speed of electric mixer for 3 minutes.

3/4 Cup + 1 Tablespoon Homogenized Milk
4 1/2 Teaspoons Salad Oil

Add to eggs, using low speed.

1 1/2 Cup + 2 Teaspoons All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

Combine in separate mixing bowl. Add to milk and eggs. Mix until smooth. Pour into a 2-inch deep rectangular baking dish.

8 (1 inch thick ) Slices of Bread (Texas Toast)

Dip bread into batter, coating both sides. Drain slightly. Deep Fat fry at 350 F until golden brown.

Powdered Sugar

Sift lightly over Fried French Toast. Serve with hot syrup or additional Powdered Sugar.
