Honors Housing
Overview
Honors Housing are two coeducational residence halls located in the Strong Complex. Honors Housing will be offered on one female and one male floor in Putnam Hall and one floor with single-gendered suites in Van Zile Hall.
Honors Housing accommodates those who participate in the University Honors Program (a combination of first-year students and upperclassmen).
Honors Housing provides a focused living environment with an emphasis on community development and academic success.
Residents living in Honors Housing in Putnam Hall are anticipated to reside there for the fall 2025 semester then be moved to the newly renovated rooms in Boyd Hall for the spring 2026 semester.

Eligibility Requirements
Students who wish to live in Honors Housing must be accepted into the University Honors Program (UHP) and complete the Honors Housing Application.
New incoming and transfer students will find the UHP application in their "To Do List" in the general university application portal. Students already attending K-State apply through the Honors Administration Link.
