Honors Housing
Overview
Honors Housing is offered in the two of the coeducational residence halls that make up the Strong Complex, Boyd Hall and Van Zile Hall.
Honors Housing accommodates those who participate in the University Honors Program (a combination of first-year students and upperclassmen).
Honors Housing provides a focused living environment with an emphasis on community development and academic success.
How to live in this community!
Students interested in living in Honors Housing will indicate this in their Housing Application, and will then be emailed a survey to confirm their intent to live in the community. This is a slightly adjusted process beginning for fall 2027 students.

Honors Housing residents eat at Derby Dining Center.
Eligibility Requirements
Students who wish to live in Honors Housing must be admitted into the University Honors Program (UHP)
New incoming and transfer students will find the UHP application in their "To Do List" in the general university application portal. Students already attending K-State apply through the Honors Administration Link.
