Honors Housing
Overview
Honors Housing is offered in the three coeducational residence halls that make up the Strong Complex. Honors Housing will be offered in Boyd Hall, Putnam Hall and Van Zile Hall.
Honors Housing accommodates those who participate in the University Honors Program (a combination of first-year students and upperclassmen).
Honors Housing provides a focused living environment with an emphasis on community development and academic success.

Boyd Hall renovations are complete, and the hall will be open to Honors Housing residents for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements
Students who wish to live in Honors Housing must be accepted into the University Honors Program (UHP) and complete the Honors Housing Application.
New incoming and transfer students will find the UHP application in their "To Do List" in the general university application portal. Students already attending K-State apply through the Honors Administration Link.
