Honors House is a coeducational residence hall located just west of campus.

The house accommodates those who participate in the University Honors Program (a combination of first-year students and upperclassmen).

Honors House provides a focused living environment with an emphasis on community development and academic success.

Eligibility Requirements

Admission into the house requires an application and approval process. Students who wish to live at Honors House must be active participants of the University Honors Program .

View the honors program admission requirements for incoming freshmen . Once accepted into the University Honors Program, students must maintain a high level of academic achievement as evidenced by an overall Kansas State University grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Honors students who fall below this level have one semester to rectify this deficiency.

Current K-State students who have achieved a high level of academic success (minimum GPA of 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credit hours) and want to become a part of the University Honors Program should contact the program director to discuss this opportunity.

Transfer students with strong academic backgrounds are also encouraged to consult with the program director to review their record and determine eligibility and requirements. In general, transfer students eligible for the University Honors Program will have a minimum GPA of 3.5 from their previous school(s) based on at least 15 credit hours.
