Dining Services Student Employee Positions

A vast majority of our students get the opportunity to work in multiple areas throughout our dining centers. No prior experience is needed. We'll train you and help you grow along the way.
Highlighted below are opportunities in specific areas of our dining centers.

Customer Service

  • Connect with other students and build lasting friendships
  • Develop strong communication and customer service skills
  • Serve a variety of foods and learn about new menu items and recipes
  • Gain experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Custodial/Dishroom

  • Work behind the scenes to keep our operation running smoothly
  • Great for students who prefer a little more independent, hands-on work
  • Help maintain a clean, safe and organized dining environment
  • Play a key role in ensuring dishes, utensils and equipment are ready to use

Food Production (positions can be limited)

  • Work along-side our cooks and chefs to prepare meals
  • Learn basic culinary skills and kitchen techniques
  • Assist with food prep, cooking and presentation
  • No experience? No problem - we'll provide the training you need

Storeroom (positions can be limited)

  • Great for students who enjoy organization and attention to detail
  • Assist with inventory, stocking and product rotation
  • Ensure kitchen staff have the supplies they need to succeed
  • Build skills in logistics and operations

The Bakery (positions can be limited)

  • Work alongside our bakery team preparing pizza crusts, deli breads, desserts and more baked goods served throughout the dining center
  • Learn basic techniques in a hands-on environment
  • Assist with preparing, portioning and organizing bakery items for services
  • Help maintain the Retail Bakery sales area, featuring fresh-baked items for purchase
