2019 KSUnity Conference: Learn About Inclusive Leadership
Jan. 28, 2019 — Housing and dining services will host the second annual KSUnity Conference from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, in the College of Business Administration Building.
All students are welcome to attend this event geared toward learning to grow as inclusive leaders. This year’s discussion will be based on author Brene Brown’s “Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts.”
“The overall aim of these conferences is to provide an immersive experience in which students can learn about how to make diversity work a part of their daily lives,” said Hannah Konrad-Huttner, assistant coordinator for housing and dining services’ Departmental Initiatives Team. “This event is important because our students want to have these conversations but sometimes don’t know how to, and this gives them a safe space to practice and learn how to engage in equity and inclusion in their day-to-day lives.”
To join the conversation, please complete the registration form by 11:59 p.m. Jan. 26.
