Derek Jackson Receives ACUHO-I

Presidential Service Award

Sept. 1, 2023 – Housing and Dining Services extends our sincere congratulations to our director Dr. Derek Jackson on receiving the 2023 Association of College and University Housing Officers – International Presidential Service Award.

This award given by the ACUHO-I president, recognizes individuals and institutions that have made a lasting impact on ACUHO-I and the campus housing profession. The winners of this award epitomize the spirit of a volunteer-driven association.

Jackson has been active within ACUHO-I serving as co-director of the South African Roelf Visser Student Housing Training Institute and served on the Executive Board as Director of Facilities and Environment.
