March 22, 2021 — The Bakery at Derby Dining Center is scheduled to reopen for the spring semester at 9 a.m. Monday, March 22, following a year-long renovation of the building. The Bakery will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Nov. 19, 2020 — The Office of International Programs presented Housing and Dining Services with the 2020 Outstanding Support for International Initiatives Award as part of International Education Week. This recognition is presented annually to recognize a K-State department, unit or organization that has gone above and beyond to support international initiatives and/or serve a global student body in extraordinary ways.
JP’s Scholarship Recipients Announced
Sept. 9, 2020 — The Department of Housing and Dining Services has announced the recipients of the 2020-2021 JP’s Scholarship. Each student will be awarded $500 for the fall semester and $500 for the spring semester to to offset academic expenses.

Study spaces available in Derby and Kramer
Oct. 9, 2018 — K-State Libraries currently offers study spaces in various Housing and Dining Services locations throughout the week. These include 5-10 p.m. in Derby 134 and 5-11 p.m. in the Meadowlark Room located on Kramer’s second floor, Sunday through Thursday. July 10, 2018 — Union Station by JP's welcomes kids ages 5-14 to sign up for a fun-filled evening of cooking with Chef Kate Sinnard. Cooking will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Mondays, beginning July 16 until mid-December.
