Winter Break Hours

Winter Break Session 2, Derby Dining Center Hours (PDF)

  • Saturday, Dec. 20: Residence halls close at noon. The evening meal at Derby and Kramer dining centers on Friday, Dec. 19, will be the last meal served. Van Zile will close following lunch on Dec. 19.
  • Thursday, Jan. 15: Residence halls open for early spring occupancy at 10 a.m. Meals will begin with lunch.
  • Sunday, Jan. 18: Residence halls officially open at 10 a.m. The first meal served will be breakfast at Derby and Kramer dining centers on Monday, Jan. 19. Kramer Dining Center will observe weekend hours
  • Tuesday, Jan. 20: Return to general academic year hours. Van Zile will reopen at breakfast.

There is no dinner meal on Sundays.

When the university cancels classes, Derby and Kramer dining centers will observe weekend meal hours. Van Zile will operate under normally scheduled meal hours. Normal hours of operation will resume as classes resume.   

Dining Services reserves the right to adjust meal times when weekend meal counts are low.
Meal hours for special groups are scheduled using the above meal hours as a base.
