Assistant Director for Conferences and Events

Karri joined our staff in the spring of 2023 as the Assistant Director for Conferences and Events. She oversees all conferences, event services and guest housing for the department. Karri has over 24 years of experience in higher education and event planning.

The Conferences and Events team is responsible for arranging meal and door access, as well as scheduling facility use and invoicing for services provided. In addition, the office coordinates guest housing services for those coming to campus as individuals or families

Coordinator of Conference Services and Emergency Training

David has worked for the department since 1976, as a resident assistant in Haymaker Hall (three years) in residence life (35 years), and as a hall coordinator in Marlatt Hall (32 years).
David markets our services to potential conference organizers and communicates conference details to department leaders.
David is responsible for residence hall mail clerk training and general oversight, as well as vacation mail.
