Housing Contract Webinar

At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, we will host our Application Webinar for the 2026-2027 academic year. You can register for the Zoom webinar and it will also be available on Facebook live. The webinar will be recorded and available to view on our YouTube channel and website the day after.

Residence Hall Application Available Dec. 9: How to Proceed

If you're not currently living in one of our communities but would like to sign up for the 2026-2027 academic year housing in one of our residence halls, please follow the steps outlined below. (Students must be admitted to the university with a verified K-State eID to complete these.)

First, watch the Application Webinar, which will walk you through accessing and filling out the housing application for new, incoming students.

Step 1: Complete the Residence Hall Application

The residence hall application will be available to complete beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025. Students can then complete the contract and submit the minimum $230 contract payment. This amount consists of a $30 non-refundable processing fee and a refundable $200 initial payment.
Once the application is complete, it becomes a legally binding contract. Contracts will not be processed or considered complete until the initial payment is made. A verified K-State eID and password are required to complete this process.
If you have questions or concerns about the contract payment, please contact the Housing and Dining Services office for assistance.
The date and time a student completes the residence hall contract will determine their place in line for the room selection process in May.

Join us for our Room Selection Webinar in March for details about how the room selection process works. More information will be shared about the date and time of the webinar in March.
Residents who are confirmed for a Residential CAT Community or Honors Housing will begin to choose their living experience March 23.
All other new residents will begin to choose their living experience in April. Notification with your selection date and time will be sent to your K-State email in March.

Already Live Here and Wish to Return for 2026-2027?

If you're loving your campus home-away-from-home and want to reserve your space (or another space) for the 2026-2027 academic year, you'll have the chance to Level Up Your Living begining in January. Watch your email for more information — we'll send details in the HDS newsletter as well as in a separate message. Your RA and community coordinators will also be working to ensure you understand the process and timeline.
