Move Out Donations
K-State Housing and Dining Services is proud to collaborate with campus and local resources to provide gently used clothing, furniture and household items to community members and keep these items out of local landfills. Students can also donate unopened, non-perishable food items.
Donations will be accepted in the Derby 134 classroom and Kramer Meadowlark Room beginning Thursday, May 8 through Saturday, May 17.
Four local agencies:
- K-State Career Closet
- Cats' Cupboard
- H.I.S. (Helping International Students)
- Habitat for Humanity of the Northern Flint Hills
Items that will be accepted:
- Clothing: Gently used clothing, shoes, ties and belts (excluding undergarments and socks). Items must not be stained or torn and should be washed before donating.
- Food: Non-perishable items that have not been opened.
- Furniture/Household items: Couches, tables, chairs, TVs, entertainment stands, shelving units and microwaves. Will not accept furniture this is stained, torn or broken.
