Community Coordinator Position Description

Coordinator Benefits


    Most coordinators earn approximately $40,000 - $41,000 after a full year of review.
    Position is hourly, and allows for overtime pay.

    Fringe Benefits

    8 hours of vacation leave per pay period up to a maximum of 176 hours per year and 3.7 hours of sick leave per pay period.

    Access to "staff" parking on campus with purchase of a parking permit.


    Full Meal Plan

    Professional Development

    $1,400 in funds, various opportunities both in and out of the department including chairing and serving on committees, teaching opportunities, supervising graduate students, and regional/national involvement.

    Laundry Allowance

    Access to in-apartment private laundry.

    Educational Opportunities

    Employee tuition assistance included. Employees receive one undergraduate or graduate course for up to three hours of credit during each semester. 


    K-State offers the opportunity for employees to earn a Ph.D. in Student Affairs in Higher Education


    Spouses and Dependents may receive a tuition grant for up to seven undergraduate credit hours or three graduate hours per fall and/or spring semester. 


    The opportunity for live-in partners/roommates is possible, on the condition that they complete and pass a background check.

    Pet Policy

    We allow one cat or one dog to live in the apartment. Additional small animals are permissible per our Association of Residence Halls policy.
