Summer Speakeasy On the Balcony

JP's Gastropub to host summer speakeasy

June 9, 2019 — Union Station by JPs Gastropub will host its second speakeasy event from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 14. This time with a summer theme, the event will be held on the Gastropub’s outdoor balcony.

The speakeasy will offer a small plates menu featuring two choices: Gravlax crostini — cured and smoked Chilean salmon with goat cheese, arugula and bacon jalapeno onion marmalade topped with an ancho honey reduction — and the classic flatbread caprese with tomato, mozzarella, basil and a balsamic reduction.

A themed cocktail list will feature modern takes on classic Prohibition-era drinks such as the mint julep, Manhattan, sloe gin fizz and more.

Guests can gain entry to the event-exclusive balcony area by giving the password “family” at the Gastropub’s main entrance.
