June 9, 2021 — Derby Dining Center has been featured in an article by Foodservice Equipment Reports for its new construction and design. FER “Connects manufacturers of foodservice equipment and supplies with the world's top buyers/specifiers of E&S.”

The article features an overview of the construction process and the intent behind specific design elements in the dining center to transform and upgrade the previous facility. The improvements include fixing issues from the previous design, such as the traffic flow and layout, along with working around budget constraints and implementing an interior design that highlights the Flint Hills.
