KSAND Recipe Contest Winner

Camille Korenek Selected as KSAND Recipe Contest Winner

April 7, 2021 — Camille Korenek, associate director for dining and instructor in the Department of Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health, has been selected as a winner of a recipe contest hosted by Kansas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Korenek’s avocado green curry recipe — consisting of of jasmine rice, garlic, coconut milk, fish sauce, curry paste, julienne carrots, edamame, spinach, julienne green onions and avocadoes — was inspired by Thai green curry beef.

Winners were selected based on recipes that were creative, easy to make and healthy. Winners received free registration to the 2021 KSAND annual conference.
