Network Registration Update
Make the K-State network registration process go faster by preparing your computer for network access before you arrive. Network registration is necessary to help ensure that both your computer and the K-State network remain secure. You can prepare your computer from any off-campus location by completing the outlined steps on our registration page on the computer you plan to bring.
Recommendations for the 2020-2021 Academic Year
- Screen-casting and screen-sharing devices: In order to cast to a device on campus, you must register your device; be sure to select the “AirGroup” checkbox, and connect it to the KSU Guest network. Examples include Apple TV AirPlay and the Google Chromecast.
- Do not bring a wireless router! They interfere with our network and there is no purpose in having it.
- Wireless printers can be registered and connected to the KSU Guest network in order to print wirelessly. Make sure to enable “AirGroup” when registering the printer.
- Install Microsoft Office! This is already free for students. Learn how to install.
