Network Registration Update

You may register new devices via a computer or smartphone once you arrive on campus. You must be connected to one of our KSU Wireless networks to access the registration portal. Network registration is required for all devices other than laptops and smartphones. Please visit our Network Registration page for more information and instructions on how to access the registration portal.

Recommendations for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

  • Screen-casting and screen-sharing devices: In order to cast to a device on campus, you must register your device; be sure to select the “AirGroup” checkbox, and connect it to the KSU Guest network. Examples include Apple TV AirPlay and the Google Chromecast.
  • Do not bring a wireless router! They interfere with our network and there is no purpose in having it.
  • Wireless printers can be registered and connected to the KSU Guest network in order to print wirelessly. Make sure to enable “AirGroup” when registering the printer.
  • Install Microsoft Office! This is already free for students. Learn how to install .

If you encounter problems, visit our Online Help Site and submit a service request. Before entering a ticket, please refer to the FAQs and Troubleshooting page on our website, as solutions to many common problems have already been posted.
