Dining Center Meal Plans

Meal Plans and Rates

K-State's on-campus food has once again landed in the Top 20 nationwide. The Princeton Review's " The Best 390 Colleges " has ranked K-State's campus food at No. 14 in its 2025 issue. It's pretty rare for campus meals to be made from scratch on location. The quality and convenience of Housing and Dining Services' dining centers make a meal plan smart for all K-Staters; not just on-campus residents. We offer meal plans for Jardine Apartments residents, off-campus students and K-State faculty and staff. You can eat at Derby or Kramer dining center, both of which are just a few minutes from either side of campus. Both locations are "all you care to eat," and offer a diverse selection of meal options to choose from daily.

Dining center hours and menus are available to be viewed at any time. We do not serve a Sunday dinner meal in the dining centers.

Summer Plans

Jardine residents and off-campus students have the option of eating in the dining centers during the summer intersession. Learn more . (PDF)

2024-2025 Cash Meal Prices

You don't have to buy a meal plan to eat at our dining centers; anyone can purchase an all-you-care-to-eat meal for the cash meal price. Buying the plan, however, allows you to save on the per-meal cost.

Breakfast: $11
Lunch (Monday-Saturday): $13
Dinner (includes Sunday noon): $14
Special Event Dinners: $16

It is a violation of the meal plan contract to take food out of the dining center unless using an On-the-Go reusable container program meal or a meal using the sick meal process. Additionally, per compliance with the Kansas Food Code, outside drink containers are not allowed to be filled in the dining center.
