Choose Your Experience!
Where Will You Live Next Year? Let House Hunters: On-Campus Edition Help
Thank You
First, we'd like to extend a sincere thank you for choosing to live on campus this year. We know that community living during a pandemic is not without its challenges. Because you trusted us to make the necessary changes to our facilities and procedures, and took personal responsibility for the safety of your neighbors, we did it! Your support means more than you know.
Same Rate, New Experience!
Next year, our rates will stay the same while the on-campus living experience will have so much more to offer. Our residence halls and dining services remain some of the best campus accommodations in the nation: In the Princeton Review's "The Best 386 Colleges: 2021 Edition," K-State's residence halls were ranked at No. 20, and our campus food at No. 13.
As a current resident, now is the time to go hunting for on-campus housing for the 2021-2022 academic year. You have the power to choose your own on-campus living experience. Let our experienced student living team act as your realtor to help you find the perfect home-away-from-home. These pages will show you how to proceed, as will the details outlined in emailed communication and assistance from your staff. (Ask your questions in person at one of our upcoming info sessions.)
Selecting your room during the CYE process allows you to choose before incoming freshmen and transfer students. You can still secure on-campus housing after the dates outlined in these pages, but you'll be competing with far more students for the space you want.
Not currently living with us? The process to obtain on-campus housing at K-State is outlined on our Where Should I Live? page.
Undecided about whether to stay or move off campus? We've compiled a ton of reasons why on-campus isn't just for freshmen, and there are lots! View all the advantages to living on campus.

Strong Community Availability
After much consideration, we made the difficult decision to close Boyd, Putnam and Van Zile halls for the 2021-2022 academic year. Incoming and returning resident projections for the year are such that it would be fiscally irresponsible to keep these facilities in operation. We share your disappointment with this decision, but we're confident that you'll find a commensurate home-away-from-home among our selection of great on-campus options!
Hybrid Apartments
The popular "Hybrid Apartment" model is back this year. Choosing a hybrid allows you to live in one of our two-, three- or four-bedroom Jardine apartments, but to rent by the room as an individual.
- No need to confirm roommates
- Meal plan is optional
- Room is furnished (bed, dresser, desk)
- Located just steps away from the Rec Center and sports complex
Double as Single Rooms
We will again offer a limited number of our double residence hall rooms as singles for an extra charge.
