JP’s Scholarship Winners Announced
Dec. 2, 2019 — Four students have been selected as the recipients of the JP’s Scholarship for 2019-2020. Each student will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
John Pence retires from Housing and Dining Services after 56 years
Aug. 28, 2019 — Housing and Dining Services marks the end of an era with the retirement of John Pence, senior associate director for dining services, after 56 years of service. A reception will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the K-State Alumni Center’s Tadtman Board Room.
Chelsea Paul brings leadership skills to Kramer Dining Center
July 17, 2019 — The Department of Housing and Dining Services recognizes Chelsea Paul, culinary operations manager at Kramer Dining Center, for her selection to participate in the National Association of College & University Food Services Leadership Institute June 16-21 in Solon, Ohio.
Karen Thompson Retirement Reception To Be Held June 27
June 18, 2019 — The Department of Housing and Dining Services invites its campus colleagues to a celebration of Karen Thompson's 38 years of service from 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Pittman Foodstores Warehouse.

April 16, 2019 − The Little Apple Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary held its annual leadership reception Monday, April 15, at the Alumni Center ballroom. 2019 KSUnity Conference: Learn About Inclusive Leadership
Jan. 28, 2019 — Housing and dining services will host the second annual KSUnity Conference from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, in the College of Business Administration Building. All students are welcome to attend this event geared toward learning to grow as inclusive leaders.
Housing and Dining Services Honors Employees
Jan. 14, 2019 — Members of K-State’s dining services met at Derby Dining Center Jan. 11 to celebrate a group of dedicated employees. At its annual Employee Recognition Ceremony, 25 employees were recognized in one of three categories: years of service, attendance or retirement.
